During our Texax trip about five years ago, we too, went thru the Dr. Pepper town!  Didn&#039;t get to museum though.
The (former) Stockyards south of Fort Worth are worth the time.  They give a very nice tour.  Great beef at Risky&#039;s (?) restaurant.
