Hello there, Danny, Drew and Ken! We are certainly enjoying reading the texts from you, the beautiful pictures and overall awe-inspiring “journey” of yours. To us, as readers, it seems the trip is going quickly, but I can’t begin to imagine what every mile must mean for each of you.
I know you well, Danny, and I know that you know God goes with you, Drew and Ken. I am so proud of my wonderful brother and his friends. What an endeavor; what a commitment. I love you so much. Mama and I have been using Nikki’s computer to “track” you in Charleston and I’m reading on my home computer right now. Will return to Charleston on Thursday.
You are always in my prayers and my love always goes with you.

I am so glad to hear you made it out of the mountains safely and progressed to another state. I had an idea for you ,with all the Subway you all eat you should see if they could donate money to the cause! You two could do an add Campaign for them in exchange for a big sum of money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.Just a thought.Be safe guys! I will pray for you all tonight.
Hey Guys,
You are inspiring us back here on the east coast. I know you will inspire everyone you meet along the way.

You guys are so very inspiring! Drew, the stories are wonderful. Unforgettable! I feel like I am with you. I imagine it is a chore to have to do at the end of a long days ride. Be encouraged. It matters. Your memory will fade, but your words will be around to help you remember.
Danny, I played trombone in a concert Friday night for the first time in several years. A friend of mine is fighting cancer for his life and we held a benefit concert to help with his expenses (http://weloveclarkrogers.com). Keep doing what you are doing. It matters!
Hey Guys! I am so envious of all the good times you are having, all the great people you are meeting and the fact that you can ride a bike sooo many miles in just a day, much less across the entire country!! GODSPEED
Danny,
I have biked across the country two times just like you are doing. I want you to have success on your journey more than anyone because my sister died from breast cancer last week. As an experienced biker, I know you must plan your route ahead of time and that takes more time than anything else. I, also, know you must start biking early in the morning and you need to avoid big cities if you want to be successful. My next long distance bike trip is dedicated to my sister and I am in the process of planning my route. How did you know it was a safe bikers route and you were avoiding big cities and traffic?
Danny and Drew… good to hear that you made it through the night in the not-so-reassuring hotel. I am glad that you took pictures, you should send them to a movie director
I’ve been telling as many people as I can about your trip; it is an amazing story that you have Danny. Try to stay away from the scary bees (maybe that is what happened to both of your tires Drew). Good luck with the days to come… I hope the wind is at your back and the tires resistant to flats.
Ms. Deas is still praying for you all every morning.
Thank you for the pictures (Yone). Be careful (Dowling). Don’t fall down (Jaylen). If you see a volcano take a picture of it (Jesse). We love you (Jonathan). Watch out for cars (Aldariya). Don’t ride into the cactus (Levi). Don’t go in the middle of the road (TeAsiah). Don’t get hurt (I’jah). You are doing a good job (Aiyana). Keep it up (Te’yionna). Look out for cows (KJ).
Hey Danney and Drew
Keep up the good work. It is a great you are raising awarness. My grandpa died of cancer 6 years ago. Keep up the good work.
@Charles
Charles,
I glad everything is going well with your group of riders. It’s been going pretty well this pass week–
we’re having a great time—I’m still slow but getting stronger–I think—miss you guy!!
See you soon,
Dan
Drew and Danny,
I think the fact that you rode past the sign that says “Bikes Prohibited” is indicative of your strength and commitment to push past false barriers! Bravo to you two!
Barbara
Thinking of you every day. Sadly, the 10 of us on the Bobby Ride(www.crazyguyonabike.com/doc/4688 ) only have ten more days until we end in Fla. I wish life could be all about riding and raising awarness and needed funds. I miss riding with you. If you have room, maybe we can hook up and I can join you as you get towards your last few days. Danny & Drew, don’t push too hard. We had an injury yesterday because we were pushing too much… 100 miles, and ferry was closed for upkeep. we should have gotten in the van and did not and just pressed on. When ya get tired, stop and stay within your limits. Take care, buddy… Miss ya ! Love, Charles
Hey Danny……I followed your last ride back in 2000 and plan on following this one to your return to Charleston. I’m a friend of your “little sister” Pattie. She told me what a terrific web page you had and threatened me with my life if I didn’t look at it. (I know she will be looking at this). Just want to wish you luck. Stay safe and God Bless all of you. Kate
Danny and Drew,
Hope you had a good day of rest and are ready to go after it again. Please be careful out there AND please don’t run over any cars! You should have enough stories to write a book!!
Pete
Danny and Drew,
You all are doing so good! I’m sure the day of rest is welcomed. Ken, you need to be commended for your good work, too. Still praying. Take good care.
Marsha

I know that Mateo and all the kids at Leonard’s miss you a bunch. They are very proud to be your students and what a great example you give all of us with your dedication and courage. God Bless you every single mile.
My Mom passed away of Multiple Myeloma in 1997. Ever since I’v always participated on the light the night walk and attempted to raise money. About a year Ago My Brother was diagnosed with Burkett’s Lymphoma. I know what the Lymphoma Leukemia society gives to all of us that are touched by devastating diseases, the support and research is always needed.Thank YOU for inspiring all of us to do more…..
Drew your webite is an inspiration to all of us. Keep yourself healthy and have a safe journey.

-Greg
Looks like you have the trip all laid out. You two are doing a wonderful thing, keep on going and I look forward to seeing you in Dallas next month!
Danny & Drew,
First I want to say what an inspiration you both are. Drew your Aunt Joan had invited me over to her house when you and Danny were there. I’m so sorry I wasn’t able to make it. It sounded like you had a wonderful time. I would have loved the chance to get to know you both. I am also a 2 time (well almost 2 time, 1 more chemo treatment to go) cancer survivor. Danny your story brought tears to my eyes. This is such an awsome thing you are both doing along with the support of ken. I love following your journey. I wish you both the best of luck with spreading the word about early dectection. Stay safe and keep on bikin!
One state down! Make sure that you have alcohol hand gel (yeah! it’s not for drinking along the way!!) and be cautious these days. The sites are beautiful and I look forward to your update each day.
As I’ve already said but repeat myself .. YOU ALL ARE an INSPIRATION!!
God Bless and Safe Peddling!
Hi Danny, I expect to be in Birmingham when you come through. I am available at my work e mail for info on how to catch up with you. You never know, I might even park by the side of the road and wait on you.
Hey guys, enjoying the website daily, keep it up! We look forward to your return into Charleston, and we can be there this time!
Hey Drew!
Wow, I haven’t talked with you since high school, but I’m thankful you sent me the facebook message on this trip! This is amazing! I’m so excited for you and Danny. I’m glad you did not succumb to the perception you have to find a job right after school. Haha you definitely won’t regret this decision. I will pray for you and Danny’s safe travels and health along the trip. Enjoy every day.. they’ll go by quick!!
God Bless You!
-Ali
Keep on, keepin on!!! Liz and I are thinking of you. Look forward to seeing you at The Joe.
Keep going and take plenty of liquids!! Dehydration is unforgiving. Keep up the twittering please. The blog is just awesome! Hope Arizona is a good state for you.

Good luck today!!!!
Danny and Drew,
Your website is great. I signed up for the email updates and now every morning I’m reminded to check your progress! Stay safe and know that you are in our prayers.
Danny & Drew,
Good to see your progress, everything looks so beautiful. I have told so many people about your inspiring story, and you can rest assured that a bunch of people that you don’t know are following and praying for you both. We’ll be in touch, be careful re: the Swine Flu, and I’ll be talking to you later. Anything you need, let me know.
