Hi Drew and Danny,
We’ve been following your fantastic journey and are happy to hear that Danny is back on his bike! Congratulations on making it back into South Carolina – that is such an accomplishment and you both must feel great.
Wish we could join you on the ride into Folly Beach! You’re almost there! We will be thinking about you the next few days and praying for your safe return. Enjoy the rest of your trip and may God bless you both. Love and best wishes,
Ann, Larry, Jeff and Chris Bitter
I’m going to be lost not being able to go to your site every day. Can’t wait to see you at Folly. God’s speed. Mission accomplished!
Love,
Marsha
Danny, Drew and Ken,
You must all be getting so excited that the cross country trip is coming to a close. I know that I am for you. I can’t wait to read about the final leg of the trip with the escort. Take many pictures and continue to have a safe journey.
Drew, what are you doing that you get so many flat tires. It must be some sort of test. The Jessee family is thing of you all and we pray for a successful and safe journey.
Danny & Drew, Two more days! You must be so excited. What a ride you’ve had and you have touched so many people. I have followed your blog every day since you left San Diego. (I’m going to be just a little sad not to be able to check in on you every morning!) Take care and we’ll see you at the beach!

Danny and Drew,
What a courageous way to bring attention to the importance of early screening and prevention of cancer! I thank God that He blesses you every day, meets your needs, and keeps you safe. He shall give His angels charge over you; Jehovah Jireh cares for you. (Psalm 91) I will miss your Charleston arrival as I will be out of town. God bless you and have fun! Please give a special hello to your mother for me.
Margaret
Hi Danny,
It’s so good to hear you’re riding again. I’m sure it’s been hard to be a spectator, although you’ve certainly been doing a fantastic job with interviews, etc. We made reservations today for this weekend. We can’t wait to be part of the grand “welcome home” you all will receive. Take good care…you’re almost there! Ken and Drew, you all take good care, too. We look forward to seeing you very, very soon.
Love,
Marsha
Glad to see you are pedaling again Mr. Leonard. Hope this means you are feeling very well. First day of summer band camp was great. We are all waiting for a safe return and to hear all the stories.

Hi Guys,
I just wanted add my two sense about how inspiring your stories are. I lost my boyfriend last week to Leukemia and I can’t thank you enough for doing what your doing in search of a cure. I intend to join the fight and hope to see you in the future!
Drew and Danny,Kat and I wanted to be there for your arrival so we went to walmart and bought bikes .We started to petal to catch up to you today but they turned out to be stationary bikes…so we will be eating icecream cones and wishing you the best and will be with you in spirit. ps we like our chicken fried. Ken a box fell out of an ambulance …hahaha!
Hey Danny,
I am proud of your contribution to raising awareness of leukemia and lymphoma along with preventative measures that can be taken to curtail the advancement of it. You are dedicated to a great cause. Your personal fight with advanced stage cancer is inspirational and your cross-country tour is remarkable. You are a living example of strength and belief that one can achieve the impossible. I value our long-standing friendship and look to many more years of sharing our golden years. Love you man, Roger
Hey Mr. Leonard! This is Kathy Howell, who graduated with Dan from FBC. I am encouraged that you are healthy now and still doing this ride. I wish that the funds were available to me to donate, but they just are not right now. Prayers will have to suffice. I’m at a high risk for cancer as 3 out of 4 of my grandparents died of one form of cancer or another and Daddy had colon cancer in the early 90′s. I’ll follow your ride and try to be there at Folly when you arrive. Take care and be safe.
hi guys!! i will neede that update on the riding schedule asap if you please.
Wow…what a ride…. May fair winds be at your back, the hills be going down and blue skies usher you in to the lowcountry. Your website has been an inspiration. Your ride has raised awareness about Leukemia, Lymphoma and about the spirit of survival and support.
What was the name of the interstate you guys shut down? I’m watching the Tonight Show, and he made three jokes in a row about an interstate 504 or 405 that was shut down… I was thinking how cool would that be if they were referencing the ride! Well, I hope things are still going good – We can’t wait to welcome you guys home!
Hi you guys, we have been following your progress, and i know you have had a lot of ups and a few downs. Our prayers ahve been with you. Please know how much we love you Danny. It was great meeting u Drew at the send off concert. Seems like ages ago now. Remember Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the Lordshall renew their strength; they ahll mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
Cudos to your support team. God Bless you , and we miss you. Mary T.
Drew and Danny,
Be safe and keep riding strong safe and hard. God Bless and keep you. We are proud of you too. Therese Steve and Joe Speth
